RESOLUTIONS

Here are this year's resolutions, hopefully I can keep them. This year there is no big list just a couple ones that I hope I can work on from now till december

Heal my Ankle - This year I fell and fractured my ankle along with tearing two ligaments. Yes it was painful but I have made so much progress in two months. I was only in the cast for 2 weeks and I was off my foot for 6 weeks.

I managed to get past crutches and am now walking with tennis shoes and taking my own showers(granted I can't stand yet but at least I can enjoy a nice hot shower and do my hair that in itself is a milestone) theres so many things that I took for granted that now I am thankful for and have to relearn to do, yet when I manage to do them its a triumph.

I hope to be fully fuctional by May when petsitting season starts and be driving by then.

Lose Weight- I know this is something everyone does, and I have tried in the past but I have decided to change things around this year, being off my feet and not able to walk or run or do exercise for so long has gotten me to want to be active. more active than I have been previously, I am determined to try for my high school weight but I will be happy with halfway.

I just want to not see the excess areas in my body, yes ladies you know what I'm talking about. those areas that sag or are excess areas. granted I am not overly heavy but there is still those areas that I hate and I would just like to be propotionate and be able to fit into a smaller size

Reconnect with friends-Sure I have a few close friends that I've managed to stay in touch with, but sometimes I envy those I know that have the big circle of friends they managed to keep in touch with all these years.

I want to be able to reconnect with high school , college and other friends. Hopefully I can catch up with those I haven't talked to in awhile and build up the friendships that I have. I want to have friends I can call when I need someone to talk to. Friends that I can have a girls time with and that I can be friends with when I'm old.

Find the love of my Life- this is probably the hardest one of them all, I haven't dated in a long time, and it does take awhile to find the right one. plus I'm not sure any guy would like me the way I look now. maybe I just need some self esteeem .

A deal breaker to most men is that I am saving myself for marriage, in this society it seems that sexual is important to the relationship and it seems to define a relationship. I want a romance where the guy romances me and is my friend and confidant. I'm oldfashioned and want to be cherished for who I am and have my choice to wait respected.
